eBRAM Visits Hangzhou Arbitration Commission / Hangzhou Court of International Arbitration

During the 2026 APEC China Year Series Events, representatives from the eBRAM International Online Dispute Resolution Centre (eBRAM) visited the Hangzhou Arbitration Commission (杭州仲裁委員會) Hangzhou Court of International Arbitration (杭州國際仲裁院) (HZAC) and met with Ms. Li (李炫樂女士) , Deputy Secretary-General of HZAC, and Mr. Hu (胡哲瑄先生) , Senior Arbitration Secretary of the International Data Arbitration Court (杭州國際數據仲裁院).

The meeting provided a valuable platform to exchange views on the development of data arbitration and mediation, innovation in dispute resolution in the digital economy, and the evolving needs of cross-border commercial dispute resolution. During the meeting, Mr Albert Leung, Acting CEO of eBRAM also discussed the application of technology in arbitration and mediation, including the development of Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) and digital arbitration platforms. 

As digital trade and cross-border business activities continue to grow, both sides recognized the importance of leveraging technology to deliver more efficient and accessible dispute resolution services. The visit further strengthened ties between Hong Kong and Mainland dispute resolution institutions and reinforced a shared commitment to advancing innovation in the field.
